Imphal, June 11: Even as the state government head by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh is taking up all possible measures to prevent bandh and blockade in the state, even by taking a cabinet decision to award befitting punishment to the bandh callers, All Police Constable (Male/Civil) Viva-voce completed candidate Fresh Batch -2016, 10+2, a body of police recruitment appeared candidate has threaten to call 48 hours bandh from midnight today.
In a statement of the organisation said that as per the statement of the Chief Minister N Biren Singh to express their grievances before any such bandh or blockade is being called the body had tried to meet the Chief Minister three times, but as they were deprived from meting the Chief Minister they are left with no choice but to call the 48 hours bandh from midnight today.
The body is demanding declaration of the result conducted for recruitment of Manipur Police constable (Male) fresh candidate.
Mention may be made that this is the second bandh after meira Paibi called 12 hours bandh yesterday at Thangmeiband Assembly constituency demanding resignation of MLA Dingo.
