Imphal, Dec 31: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Th. Lokeshwar among others greets the people of the state on occasion of the New Year 2017.
In his greeting the Chief Minister said that New Year’s Day is not only an occasion for introspection, but also for searching and evolving new resolutions for the coming years.
The CM appealed people to resolve to fight and defeat evil designs of divisive and disruptive forces, and consolidate and support the forces of solidarity and harmony.
Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Th Lokeshwar also wished the people of the state on New Year’s Day. In his greeting, the Speaker appealed the people to begin a new live which will bring peace and harmony in the state. He also appealed the people not to be driven by the divisive forces.
