Imphal, Dec 7: With the UNC fails to listen to the plead of the UCM to roll back the economic blockade along the two national highways, the United Committee Manipur (UCM) has called an all community meeting on December 9.
This was stated by Elangbam Johnson, President of the United Committee Manipur while talking to media persons today. Johnson said that as the deadline given to the UNC has been over the UCM is now left with no choice to convene an all community meeting to find a way to counter the UNc economic blockade.
He said the economic blockade has given tremendous hardship not only to the people of the valley areas but also to those villagers in interior Hill district. He appealed UNC to once more reconsider the appeal for relaxation of the economic blockade from various sections of the society.
The All Manipur Christian Organisation (AMCO) and Tribal Churches Leader Forum (TCLF) has demanded to sort out the current issues between State Government and United Naga Council (UNC) with a clarification over the announcement of Jiribam and Sadar Hills as full fledge district.
Speaking to the media persons here at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul, L Saimon Raomai, executive member of TCLF said that it was a wrong move for the State Government trying to approve Jiribam and Sadar Hills as full fledged district without the concern of the Stakeholder of each district and community. The decision let the economic blockade to come in action call by United Naga Council (UNC) where both hill and valley people have met the limit of suffering. UNC are not against the any community but against the State Government, he added.

UNC and TCLF is doing communal politics. Govt should have political will to do all its obligation at the best interest of the state.

What about demand for separate naga state from Manipur? you assholes. When you do anything, its legitimate but when when others demand something genuine for convenience that too within the ambit of safeguarding the basic fabrics which binds us from time immemorial is illegitimate and immoral. why double standards, huh. there is a saying in hindi “jis thali main khate ho usi main chet karna (but for these UNC. “jis thali main khate ho usi main pisap karna). It is the very right of state govt. whether to declare district or not for convenience of administration and no one can dictate terms forget about UNC, unz or NSCM OR NSCN. Enough is enough. chaba tumdabagisu economic blockade, nathi feidabagi economic blockade. shakthu sa. nacha singdubu pokapaga “mama” “papa” gi mahutta economic blockade hanna hairamanine. thujak sa

Do AMCO and TCLF think that Economic BLOCKADE is right while you agree that it let the people meet the limit of suffering? WHY DO YOU FORGET THAT DEATH RATHER THAN SINNED.
