JCILPS agitations: 18 more non locals pull up

Imphal, Sept 24: As announced earlier members of the JCILPS along with various civil society organization of state had intensified its drive against the non locals. Today at around 11.00 am volunteers of JCILS pulled down 18 non-locals at North AOC who were on their way to Tamenglong for a bridge construction work being undertaken by Simplex company.
Speaking to the media person convener of JCILPS, BK Moirangcha  said that as declared by the JCILPS to restrict entering of non-locals in the state, the JCILPS volunteers pulled up 18 non local including a minor from North AOC. The non locals were brought by a blue hill bus under the Sangai Travel Agency form Guwahati to Mao, and again brought them by a local bus bearing registration no. MNO1-2085 to Imphal for the construction work of a bridge at Tamenglong Under simplex company.
He further added that the detained non local will be sent back to their respective places by the bus which brought them here.
He appealed the simplex officials to come at the office of JCILPS within tomorrow to discuss the issue while announcing ban to Siroy travel agency for a period of one month.
He further clarified that the drive against the non locals is not an anti-nation agitation, it’s due to the negligence of ILPS issue by state government and central government.
