Imphal, July 23: Cease work strike in hospital and treatment at OPD-RIMS which is one of the most essential services, carried out by the doctors in Manipur as a worthless service is a serious challenges to human society and a brutal crime against humanity, asserted a press release of the proscribed group Maoist Communist Party Manipur today. Commenting on the many ways and means for protest with reason for individual rights against unwanted activities or policies under Right to Protest, for instances: performance of duty in Black Badge, sit in protest, mass rally etc. for some specific duration, the release alleged that closing and ceasing of medical services of OPD is a nature of mindless set of people and shows that the leaders of the association of all doctors in Manipur called Teachers and Medical Officers Association-(TAMOA)are short sighted, immature in thoughts and policy making and undeserving, and that all the doctors who are serving in RIMS have not only been misguided but also humiliated and exhibited on sale. The release added that if the leaders are not replaced on or before 1st August, 2016 to regain the lost prestige and respect, a serious decision will be resolved against the leaders and such so called leaders are to be taken as criminals after verification of their identities with an immediate effect as the Party’s unavoidable responsibility. Any consequence should be responsible for and welcome warmly by those doctors who are committing crimes against humanity, the release concluded.
