Training for Youth Leadership and Community Development begins

MLA Md. Fajur Rahim inaugurated 3 days training on Youth Leadership and Community Development programme at Terapishak Village under Hayel Hangul Gram Panchayat which was selected as Model Panchayat under SansadAdarsh Gram Yojana on Wednesday.
In his keynote address Y. Laksman Singh, District Youth Coordinator highlighted the need for imparting skills for leadership and personality development and motivating the youth for voluntary participation in community development activities.
40 youth selected from the youth clubs under KakchingBlock are participating in the 3 days training programme. There will be life skill education, Leadership, personality development, mobilization and management of youth club, coordination with government deptts., voluntary service for community development etc.
Md. Fajur Rahim, emphasized the need for training, imparting value education, responsible behaviour and motivating for skill building among the youths. Md. Sikander Ali, Pradhan who presided over the inaugural function prayed for active participation of youth in the training programme with sincerity, dedication so that the youths may learn new technique from the resource persons and further it may help in bringing a change in the society.
The training will continue till Nov. 27.
