2 day orientation program on youth in peace building and skill development was held today at Manipur Press Club Imphal. The programme was jointly organized by Gandhi Smriti and Harshan Samiti, New Delhi , Manipur.
Speaking on the inaugural session of the program, Professor of Department of Political Science Manipur University Ksh. Bimola Devi quoted Mahatama Gandhi about his ideology of performing duty before demanding rights.
“Such valuable idea will make a society peace harmony” Bimola said. She further added that if the ideal idea could not be converted into action it will be useless.
The president of the Harshan Samiti, New Delhi, Manipur N. Inaocha also president also grace the orientation program as president.
