2 AR, C-Coy in association with the Yairipok Municipal Council today kicks off the 7 days social service capm at Bamol Leikai Youth Club Yairipok as a part of the Swaach Bharat Mission. The inaugural function of the 7 day social service was attended by Major PK Thakur, Commander, 2 AR C-Coy Yairipok , Keisham Rupachandra Singh, Chairperson Yairipok Municipal Council, Prafullo Meetei, President BYCY and M. Samuel, Founder, Kids Mold School Yairipok Bamol Leikai as Chief Guest, President and guest of honours.
On the occasion an awareness programme to keep our surrounding clean was also held.
On the other hand Wangjing Lamding Municipal Council also conducted a cleanliness drive under the Ministry of urban Development, Govt. of India at Wangjing Keithel. The cleanliness drive will continue for three days in and around the Wangjing Keithel area.
