Manipuri Students’ Federation (MSF) today asked the Indian Government if there is any hidden agenda to drive out the people of the North East part of India from the mainland India. The MSF put up the question in the wake of series of attacked to NE people in New Delhi and recent killing of a Manipuri student at New Delhi.
Speaking during a press conference held today afternoon at its office, Kh. Serajudin, President of the MSF said that the recent murdered of a Manipuri student is not the first of its kind. He said people of the NE have been attacked time and again at Bangalore, or New Delhi or other part of India. Even though the MSF has staged various demonstrations to get the attention of the government no action to safeguard the people of the NE has been seen taken up. Serajuddin said that the motives of the govt. created apprehension to people of the region about having a hidden agenda to drive out the people of NE from the mainland India. MSF also talk tough words to the government of Manipur over its inability to take appropriate measures to protect the people of the state.
The MSF president further said that MSF will demand allotment of arms to all NE students studying at the major cities of India’s mainland.
