Khurai Konsam Leikai Apunba Nupi Lup organised a “Candle Light Prayer” yesterday evening at around 8 pm at Khurai Konsam Leikai near Popular High School in connection with the mass prayer campaign for fair investigation of the 1528 cases of fake encounter by the CBI.
Meira paibi of the area had lit the candle and formed human chain and prayed to the almighty for proper proceeding of investigation and the matter be charge sheeted at the earliest on the given date by the Supreme Court. Khurai Konsam Leikai Apunba Nupi Lup appealed the people of Manipur to stand united to fight to repeal AFSPA and fight for justice for those who have lost their lives in the hand of Indian Armed forces. It further appealed to the masses to organize series of Mass Prayer in the evening and light candle to show respect to beloved souls.
It could be noted that the 1528 cases was filed by the EEVFAM.
