Thoubal,March.21: Six sportspersons from Thoubal Kiyam area who won gold and silver medals in the 1st World Jeet kune-do Championship 2018 at Thailand were felicitated at Kiyam Shiphai Amuleijam Leikai Community hall in Thoubal District today.
The felicitation programme Joinly Organised Kiyam Siphai Wangmataba Development Association (KSWDA) Khong Ahanbi Youth Association (KHAYA) and Global Club Kiyam Shiphai Mamang Leikai was attended by Councillor of TMC Ward no.16 M.Ibobi, Ward.no.15 Councillor N.Santi Devi, Social Worker Yumnam Nabachandra and leaders of local organisations.
Sub-Junior Full contact 28 kg Silky Thingujam as one Gold, Full contact Sub-junior 32 kg & forms competition Nitish Oinam as Two Gold, Sub Junior 45 kg & forms competition M.Nelson Singh as one Gold & one Silver, sub junior 51 kg Victoroy Oinam as one Gold & one Silver, Junior 66 kg O.Rishikanta Singh and Senior Forms Competition Dr.O.Sanayai as one Gold were feted during the programme.
