Imphal, Jan 8: 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) recovered 4000 numbers of WY worth Rs. 20 lakhs. On 05 Jan 2018 based on specific information at around 1445 hours one Silver coloured Maruti Van bearing Regd No ML 05J 3551 moving from Moreh to Imphal was stopped for checking at
PVCP, Khudengthabi. During checking of vehicle and the Individual 4000 numbers of WY tablets were recovered. The individual is identified as Md Abas Khan, aged 25
years s/o Md Raosan, r/o Sambrukhong, Lilong, Thoubal District. Recovered items
along with apprehendee handed over to Moreh Police Station.
