Manipur’s CSOs meet Amit Shah, Kiren Rijiju and RN Ravi

Imphal, Dec 22: The team of civil society body’s representatives from Manipur which is presently camping at New Delhi seeking support of the leaders of almost all political parties in the safeguarding of the Manipur’s territorial integrity as well as demanding for disclosure of the contents in the Framework Agreement which was signed between the NSCN-IM and the GoI today met BJP National President Amit Shah, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju and  Indian interlocutor of the peace talk RN Ravi.
The CSO team which comprise of Ph. Devan, President AMUCO, Elangbam Johnson, President UCM, Jeetendra Ningombam Vice President CCSK and others met Kiren Rijiju at 6 am today and later met BJP President Amit Shah at 7 am. Memorandum requesting disclosure of the contents of the Framework Agreement and the safeguarding of the territorial integrity of the Manipur have also been submitted to both the leaders.
Later the CSO team from Manipur hold meeting with RN Ravi for around 1 and half hours. The meeting began at 10 am today and lasted till 11.30 am.
Report reaching here said that the CSO team from Manipur discussed in depth about the ongoing peace talk under the FA with the Indian Interlocutor. They urged to consult all stakeholders that will be affected while solving the aged old issue.
A press statement from the CSO stated that RN Ravi has been caution of taking the responsibility by the government of India if any unwanted eventualities have been arisen in solving the issue of the NSCN-IM without consulting the people and government of Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
This is the third time that the representative of the CSOs of Manipur met the Indian interlocutor of the Indo-NSCN-IM talk RN Ravi. The CSO had earlier met leaders of various political parties including President of the AICC Rahul Gandhi and submitted memorandum.
During today’s meeting RN Ravi assured the CSO team that the solution will not hurt the interest of the neighbouring states of Nagaland including Manipur. He also stated that there will be a paramouncy of the state of  will be taken into. However the Indian interlocutor did not explain the details of the paramouncy he was talking about, said the statement released by the CSO.

We need to adopt a chain of public hunger strike till the FA is declared public or came into effective in support of a fruitfull Naga peace talk with GOI without affecting the interest of Manipur .
.,…… Long live CSOs .,.. you can only save Manipur’s interest.
