Missing woman found dead; body in decompose state

Jiribam, Dec 16: Dead body of a missing woman was found today at a village called Lalkham of Chhotbekra under Borobekara Police Station in Jiribam district yesterday evening.
Yumnam Dilibati (age 48), daughter of (late) Yumnam Chouduri Singh and Yumnam Ongba Kashbati Devi of Dibong Makha leikai, Jiribam has been reported missing since November 24 this year. A missing report has also been filed at Jiribam Police station.
Lalkham of Chhotbekra area is near Doltang village. According to report reaching a villager who went to cut bamboo in the area found a decomposed dead body lying at the area and had reported about the matter to the Borobekara Police station. Police team who rushed the site picked up the dead body and deposited it to the morgue of Jiribam district Hospital. Family members of the deceased lady identified the dead body on the dress and body structure. The dead body was handed over to the family members.
