And to be frank 5 years back Rs, 500 lakhs has been spent for preserving the river catchment area and over lakhs of sapling have been reported planted in Manipur by concern government departments. The question is where are the tress panted each years, where is the project taken by for preservation of river catchment areas in the state. Govt. should also take this matter seriously.
